This versatile, well-rounded program gives trainees in-depth instruction on applicable regulations and standards in regards to safe entry / monitor to confined spaces. It includes theory learning and hands-on exercises perfect for anyone at any the skill level.

Confined Space Training
Phase 1 – Theory Training
Trainees are guided through a comprehensive & interactive review of the trainee workbook covering:
Rules / Regulations
Types Of Spaces
Main Types of Hazards
Entry Permit
Air Quality Monitors
Purging / Venting Equipment
P.P.E (respiratory / rescue)
Phase 2 – Practical Training
Trainees are shown air monitoring equipment, space purging equipment and entry / retrieval equipment before receiving the opportunity to practice using the equipment. We provide individual scenarios structured for each participant, further strengthening skills under the helpful eye of the program trainer.
Phase 3 – Evaluation
Upon program completion, each participants is expected to fill out an entry permit (in its entity) based on a unique scenario given to the class in regards to the type of confined spaces they will be entering on the job. The permits are graded on quality, content and attention to detail. After the permits have been marked all trainees will take part in a supplemental knowledge review test where they are asked a series of questions to ensure retention of all the vital information.
NOTE: Anyone with known difficulties to English / written based tests must be accompanied by an interpreter or consult us about any difficulties that may arise.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
The program takes part in a classroom for theory learning but participation in the field is vital to successful completion. Participants are required to bring all site required PPE including :
- Steel toed work boots
- High visibility vest
- Hard hat (if required)
- Any other PPE required by specific sites
- All entry and monitoring equipment is provided. If participants are more comfortable bringing thier own personal equipment, they are encouraged to do so.
