Founded in 2014, Clockwork is a locally owned and operated training / certification provider founded by Kelly Falconer (Instructor/NCSO/OFA3).
Kelly has spent his entire life working in the trades, building extensive hands-on experience in every program that Clockwork Safety & Equipment Training BC now offers. Over the past 15 years, he has been actively involved in residential, commercial, and industrial safety, gaining valuable insight into the challenges workers face every day. This real-world experience has shown him how proper training—or the lack of it—directly impacts safety, productivity, and overall job site success.
Throughout his career, Kelly has witnessed a wide variety of workplace incidents, many of which were preventable. These incidents often stemmed from poor training, rushed instruction, or in some cases, no training at all. Seeing the frustration of both companies and workers, and feeling it himself, Kelly recognized there was a major gap in the system. Rather than accept this as the norm, he chose to take his lifetime of knowledge and apply it where he believed it could make the greatest difference—by creating a training program that focused on safety, skill, and long-term impact.
Clockwork Safety & Equipment Training BC was founded with the goal of providing in-depth, high-quality training at affordable rates. The idea was simple: create a one-stop shop for the reoccurring certifications that workers need to stay safe and stay employed. At Clockwork, we believe that the more a person understands, the safer they become—for themselves and for everyone around them. That’s why we take extra time with each class, ensuring participants retain the material and leave with confidence, not confusion.
By choosing Clockwork, you’re choosing a local, family-run business that puts your best interests first. We’ve seen firsthand the consequences of poor training, but also the power of excellent training. For us, the answer is clear: quality wins every time.
